What Is Fashion?

Hello!

I know I should have an excuse for not posting...but I dont.

Anyway , I'm here to help some of you readers find your own answer to this question:

What is fashion?

Really , this might sound cheesy but its whatever you want it to be!

Maybe you have an edgy style , rock those ripped jeans!

Maybe you like a touch of Gothic .. (sense? :S ) , wear those lace arm warmers!

Personally , I love lace gloves , they look great with dresses! (Lol)

Anyway , the answer is different to everyone.

The bit above , thats more style than answering the question but it IS related.

But really , so far this isn't a long post and I've realized wheres the fun (for you) if I try and find that answer for you?

You have to find that out yourself.

This part will be about my style.

When I was younger , I loved all that girly stuff.

Y'know pink everywhere and I rarely wore jeans.

Then , when I was nine (remember Im only eleven) and a bit after I was ten I was into all this dark stuff.

Best way to describe it , is a Gothic Phase really.

I knew there was a great history behind it all , but I was never bothered to try and know any of it.

I ended up getting a book called Gothic Charm School .

It was an okay read , and I still have it.

But I've moved on.

Now my style is high waisted trouers and shorts (never any in my size though xD) jumpsuits (summer) , jeggings ..A lot of jeggings .

I LOVE hats and necklaces.

I prefer long necklaces than short.

Whereas , your style may be something like skirts , floral prints and big rings.

I love big rings..

Anyway , sorry about that.

But the thing with fashion is , like I said its anything you want it to be.

Meaning , you can express yourself with fashion , clothes in your wardrobe or maybe design your own on paper.

The possibilities are endless.

Look at Stardoll Fashion Week.

I bet loads of people were inspired to start designing , and some probably made outfits on stardoll.

Non-SS - #6 look

Hi dear readers! I'm very sorry for not being very active, but since school has started everything has been crazy. Plus I'll start having lots of extra curricular activities which will not make things easier. But I will try my best, I promise!

As you can see by the title, I'm showing you another non-SS look!

You can get all of it for 23SD. A bit more expensive than the usual outfits I make, but still not very expensive. And you can always take some stuff out, like the bag, the necklace onr the belt. I just put it because I think it gives and extra touch to the outfit, or else it's just to plain! I hope you like it, and I will try to make 1 or 2 of these outfits per week.

DYI Outfits

Yesterday I was going to random suits and, like I usually do, I went to see bluegreen86's suit. Everyone says she is a fashion icon on our stardoll world. And again she proves she deserves that
title!
I'm a big fan of her DYI outfits, they are all amazingly well done, and this one was no exeption!
Does this look like a real starplaza dress or not?! And the thing I admire the most about all of this is that it's so simple but so stunning! Usually pepole think it's all about lots of accessories and tons of clothing on (which is something not easy to do, at all!), but this girl proves that simple is has elaborate.
And I wanted to post and outfit she made with lots of laces, it was amazing!

Another girl that unfortunately isn't active on stardoll anymore (only comes to speak with her friends) is gweneee. She made one of the best DYI dresses I've ever seen! I absolutley love it!It's amazing! I was amazed by this outfit. And she looks so simple. The hair, the dress, the makeup,... Everything! I'm really sad someone with this imagination and fashion sense has left stardoll, I truly am.

Never fail to disappoint.

Today I thought I would post about doll's around Stardoll. There were maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany dolls I could put on here but I chose a few that really stood out to me and excelled. Some of them rather quite known whilst others not so much. So firstly I bring, Zoe_COUTURE.


Zoe_COUTURE has always been a favourite of mine. I've always admired her outfits that she had put together and everytime I think, "I don't think she could make a better outfit." and she proves me wrong everytime. I like the fact that she's holding onto the leash of rather fierce animals which enhances her look and it is a really high fashion look for her. Rating; 10/10

Musicwench I really like the outfit I was greeted with when I visited her page. She used similar colours and she really has a good hand at layering. As a not so much known member of Stardoll, I appreciate that she is trying to set new trends and trying to be high fashion and she definetely acheived it with this look. Congratulations. Rating; 8/10

I don't often see outfits like this on Stardoll anymore. It is really vintage and it has a modern twist. She has kept it to the same colour which is a safe option and the textures of the outfit go really well with each other. I also like how there is jewellery in the right places if you understand and there isn't too much of it. Rating; 8/10

.pease.

I have recently gotten to know .pease. and I saw this tremendous outfit she was wearing and I had to post it. She really has a talent for layering and the colourings work really well together. It is also very casual and not as extravagant (red carpet style) as the others. It's also bang on trend and easy to acheive. You know, some people just have talent... Rating; 9/10
